Welcome to Destinations Earth, a digital place to inspire travel and world explorations!

I am a world-traveler who has explored over 100 countries and have spent more than 20 years traveling extensively. Between 2005 and 2011, I traveled around the world continuously for 6.5 years. This journey inspired my award-winning book, Destination Earth – A New Philosophy of Travel by a World-Traveler.

To inspire travel and world explorations, I share travel photos and essays that give a glimpse into my personal travel experiences. Most importantly, I share suggested itineraries to explore different countries or regions. Most of these suggested itineraries I followed myself or I modified accordingly for friends. They follow the philosophy of the “wise line”, a concept that I developed during my multi-year journey around the world. The “wise-line” is the travel route that includes a country’s important sites, places, landscapes, with minimal, if any, backtracking, within a limited time period. It offers the most comprehensive, well-rounded experience of a country, allowing the traveler to gain a deep understanding of its people, culture, and place.
